TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Enjoy a slight dip in humidity this morning. While the afternoon will remain hot, the muggy conditions will be less intense. Expect temperatures to climb into the mid-90s, with dry conditions prevailing along the coast. There is a chance for a scattered storm in eastern Polk and Highlands County this evening, which could bring strong winds and hail.

The humidity will return this weekend. It will be hotter and rain chances will increase as well.

A few spotty showers and storms will develop east of I-75 Saturday and drift east through the evening.

A lone shower might occur along the coast around midday Sunday. As these showers move inland, anticipate sea breeze showers and storms to develop across the central part of the state by Sunday afternoon and evening.

Rain chances will stay elevated on Memorial Day but it will be hot with feels like temps up to 105 degrees.

High humidity, daily rain chances and hot temps stick around next week.
