TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Areas of patchy fog are possible this morning but will clear by mid-morning. A warm and muggy day is in store with highs in the mid-80s. Rain chances will be low and just a few isolated showers are possible far inland in mainly Polk and Highlands Co.

A stray shower is also possible in Citrus Co tonight but elsewhere will stay dry. Temperatures will drop into the low 70s.
A similar setup is in store Tuesday with warm temps in the mid and upper 80s and a low chance for a stray inland shower in the evening.

A stronger southeast breeze on Wednesday will bring a few showers to the coast in the evening.

Otherwise, temperatures will be the big story for the middle and end of the week with a stretch of 90s possible beginning Wednesday.

It will stay warm and mostly dry heading into the weekend with the next cold front possibly arriving next Monday.
