JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — This weekend, the bustling streets of downtown Johnson City came alive as Main Street Days made a vibrant return on Saturday. The event showcased an array of craft vendors, lively musical acts, and much more.
Festival-goers enjoyed a day filled with entertainment, featuring over a hundred vendor stalls and continuous live music. The event also catered to young attendees with a specially designed kids’ zone offering fun and play.
The City of Johnson City shared that the festival’s purpose is to “celebrate downtown businesses and the entrepreneurs behind them, whose passion and determination bring life to our community.”
Main Street Director Lindsey Jones expressed enthusiasm in a statement, saying, “This festival perfectly embodies our Main Street program’s mission, celebrating local businesses, fostering community connection, and creating an active downtown where people want to live, work, and gather. Events like this remind us of the incredible spirit and creativity that make our downtown thrive.”
The successful execution of Main Street Days was thanks to the support of Brightspeed, TownView Senior Living, and other local partners who played a crucial role in bringing the event to life.
