Citrus County Crash Claims Life Of 18-Year-Old, Inverness Driver Over-Corrects On Curve

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred at a business in the 10000 block of N. Nebraska Avenue.

Police officers responded to a disturbance call at 6:14 p.m. Upon arrival, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

According to the Tampa Police, the preliminary investigation suggests that the shooting stemmed from a dispute between an employee and a customer. During the altercation, the employee shot the customer.

Authorities report that the employee is cooperating with the investigation and that there is no threat to the public.

The investigation is active and ongoing, and further updates will be released as they become available.
