Person who wrote bomb threat on Florida flight sought by FBI

The FBI’s Tampa Field Office is actively investigating a bomb threat discovered on an Allegiant flight at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport in Florida.

Authorities reported that the threat was written on the lavatory door of Allegiant Airlines Flight #2006 on April 25. The plane was scheduled to depart from St. Pete-Clearwater Airport and was bound for Cincinnati.

The flight crew discovered the threat while the plane was taxiing from the gate before departure.

The person wrote, “Bomb on flight check cargo. All Allegiant flight.”

The plane was evacuated but no device was found after an extensive search.
