Federal agents allegedly seen wearing horror, toy masks in Los Angeles County

Federal agents in Los Angeles were spotted wearing Halloween masks while commuting to and from a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) staging area at the Port of Los Angeles, according to a local community patrol group.

The Harbor Area Peace Patrol, a volunteer team that observes federal immigration enforcement in the Harbor region, reported the incident on Tuesday morning. Phoebe, a community member who preferred to remain partially anonymous, informed KTLA, a Nexstar affiliate, about the masked agents seen departing Terminal Island. This location is known for housing DHS and ICE vehicles before morning operations commence.

“One agent slowed down, rolled down the window, and stared directly into my camera while wearing a Chucky mask,” Phoebe recounted. “A quarter of an hour later, another agent drove out with a Momo mask and did the same. It just confirms that they seem to enjoy this work, which feels like they’re terrorizing our communities.”
