JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has announced the arrest of four individuals linked to two Johnson City businesses on charges related to prostitution.
The TBI’s Human Trafficking Unit, alongside the Johnson City Police Department’s Special Victims Unit, initiated an investigation into Mi Mi’s Foot Massage, located at 508 Princeton Road, and Aroma Therapy Spa, situated at 111 Broyles Drive, following a report alleging potential human trafficking and other unlawful activities.
According to the TBI, the investigation led to the arrest of:
- Hanmei Zhao, 56 – Impersonation of a Licensed Professional, Massage or Exposure of Erogenous Area, and Prostitution. Bond: $7,000
- Chunhua Wang, 45 – Impersonation of a Licensed Professional, Massage or Exposure of Erogenous, and Prostitution. Bond: $7,000
- Tang Yingping, 62 – Impersonation of a Licensed Professional, Massage or Exposure of Erogenous Area, and Prostitution. Bond: $7,000
- Manmei Wang, 56 – Impersonation of a Licensed Professional and Promoting Prostitution. Bond: $6,000
The TBI said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
