Georgia DOE releases 2025 list of distinguished, reward schools

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — The Georgia Department of Education (GADOE) has released the 2025 list of distinguished and reward schools.

The Distinguished School designation acknowledges the top-performing 5% of Title I schools in Georgia. Meanwhile, Reward Schools encompass the 5% of Title I schools that have shown the most significant advancements.

Title I schools refer to public schools that obtain federal funding due to the economic needs of their students. Only schools classified as Title I are eligible for these honors.
