JONES COUNTY, Ga. () – On July 23rd, investigators from the Jones County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence in Gray, Georgia, suspecting that Nichole Lewis was concealing herself there.

Lewis was wanted on several outstanding warrants in Jones, Baldwin, and Putnam Counties. Her charges included fleeing and eluding police, possession of controlled substances with the intent to distribute, obstructing law enforcement, and failing to appear in court.

At the scene, deputies encountered Ashley Wilkes, who was already wanted for helping Lewis avoid capture.
