GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) – During Tuesday’s gathering, the Greeneville City Council focused on advancing their search for a new city manager. According to Mayor Cal Doty, the city has been actively seeking candidates for this pivotal role over the last six months. Doty explained that the council intentionally allowed an extended period for applications to ensure a wide range of potential candidates could be considered. The discussion marked a significant step forward in the council’s efforts to find the right person to lead the city’s administration.
