Hawkins County Schools' Words on Wheels book bus schedule

HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Hawkins County Schools have released the schedule for their free summer reading program, featuring the Words on Wheels book bus.

Hawkins County students have the opportunity to select a free book from the book bus, which will make stops at different sites weekly.

Any updates or changes throughout the summer will be reflected in this schedule.

Week One

June 3

  • The Landings on Silver Lake Apartments (230 Silver Lake Road, Church Hill)
    • 10 – 10:45 a.m.
  • Homestead Shoppe/Oceans End Snow Cones (401/399 Richmond Street, Church Hill)
    • 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

June 4

  • Food City (731 US-11W, Church Hill)
    • 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

June 5

  • Wal-Mart (4331 Hwy 66 S, Rogersville)
    • 9 – 10 a.m.

June 7

  • Church Hill First Methodist Church (119 Grandview Street, Church Hill)
    • 11 a.m.

Week Two

June 10

  • Oak Grove Baptist Church VBS (311 Cypress Street, Mount Carmel)
    • 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
  • Church Hill Pool
    • 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

June 11
