BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Science Hill Hilltoppers Marching Band secured the top honor at Saturday’s Music in the Castle Band Competition, hosted at Tennessee High School.

The Hilltoppers claimed the Grand Champion award at the competition, securing a win during their first performance of the competitive season.

The 73rd annual competition welcomed high school bands from northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia.
