ICE arrests man with child sexual abuse convictions

() A legal permanent resident of the U.S. from Mexico has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Texas after multiple child sexual abuse convictions.

‘s Ali Bradley was present during the arrest of Jonathan Arturo Olvera Vega, who was found guilty of multiple crimes involving children under 14, including sexual abuse, indecency with a child by contact, and aggravated sexual assault, all stemming from incidents between May and August 2021.

He was sentenced to probation and placed on community supervision as of May 22, 2025. Vega’s arrest was part of a multi-agency operation which included ICE, FBI and U.S. Marshals.

Vega is currently in ICE custody, where he is awaiting a deportation hearing.
