SAVANNAH, Ga. — Savannah came alive with glamour on Thursday evening as the city hosted the Inspiring Dreams Gala: Hollywood Night of Stars.

The Trustees’ Garden provided a stunning backdrop for the event, which united Savannah’s community for a night filled with live performances, gourmet dishes crafted by skilled chefs, and an engaging silent auction. The gala’s purpose was to rally support for Family Promise of the Coastal Empire.

This nonprofit organization is dedicated to offering crucial assistance, encouragement, and support to families with children facing homelessness in the region.

Tina Tyus-Shaw took on the role of master of ceremonies. Guests mingled amidst Hollywood-themed decor, all while contributing to fundraising efforts for local initiatives.

“We want those who haven’t engaged with Family Promise to discover more about the families we assist and the significant impact we have on this community,” said Katrina Bostick, CEO of Family Promise of the Coastal Empire. “We want them to understand that their time, talents, and treasures are essential, guiding us in our mission.”

Every ticket sold, donation made, and auction paddle raised played a part in providing shelter, basic necessities, and case management for families throughout the Coastal Empire. Organizers highlighted that the community’s generosity will leave a lasting mark on the lives of children experiencing homelessness.
