() Jake Haro, the father of missing baby Emmanuel Haro, was separated from his parents while in his youth.

Emmanuel remains unaccounted for and is believed to be deceased following claims from his mother, Rebecca Haro, that he was abducted from a store parking lot on August 17. Subsequently, both Rebecca and Jake Haro have been charged with his murder.

In 2018, Jake Haro received a suspended sentence requiring him to enroll in a child abuse program due to a separate incident of child abuse that left his then-10-month-old daughter with permanent disabilities.

On Monday, criminal defense lawyer Alexandria Kazarian spoke on “Banfield” about how Jake Haro was taken from his parental home because of drug abuse and domestic violence prevalent in his family environment.

“This seems to be a deeply ingrained cycle of abuse spanning generations in the family. There are claims that his grandfather was mentally unstable and that his mother struggled with addiction, leaving him under the care of an unfit grandfather. Additionally, domestic conflicts were reported between his mother and father,” Kazarian stated.

According to Kazarian, by age 13, Jake Haro was taken away from his parents, along with his sister and brother, and placed into an adoptive family.

In 2024, Jake Haro supposedly breached his parole conditions and faced a short incarceration before being released on bail. At that period, Emmanuel, who vanished at the age of seven months, had not yet been born.
