AUGUSTA, Ga. ()– The annual Augusta Pride festival is happening downtown the last weekend in June.
Augusta Pride is celebrating an important milestone: 15 years of championing inclusion and diversity in the CSRA, while offering a platform throughout the year for people to access resources.

According to Augusta Pride President Michael Barnard-Jenkins, this weekend aligns with significant dates for the LGBTQIA+ community, such as the Presidential Military Pardon, the Marriage Equality decision, and National HIV Testing Day.

Vice President Joe Wallace shares why Pride is significant by highlighting his own journey; he discovered community and acceptance after moving to the CSRA and engaging with Augusta Pride.
The weekend events kick off with the President’s Soiree on Thursday evening, June 26th… then Beats on Broad Friday night, starting at 6 o’clock. The parade starts Saturday, June 28th at 10AM on Greene Street, and after the parade the festival continues all day at the Augusta Common.
