In Johnson City, Tennessee, community members are being called upon to share their thoughts and opinions regarding State Route 75, also known as Suncrest Drive. The Johnson City’s Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization (MTPO) is spearheading this initiative to tackle issues related to traffic flow, safety, and overall connectivity, particularly as development expands within the Gray Community.
To facilitate this, the MTPO has scheduled a public information session on November 6, set to take place between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. This event will be hosted in the gymnasium of Ridgeview Elementary School, located at 252 Sam Jenkins Road in Johnson City.
The gathering will adopt an open house format, providing attendees with an opportunity to actively participate in shaping the future of the region’s transportation infrastructure. Through an interactive voting exercise, residents can voice their concerns and suggestions, playing a direct role in influencing the planning process.
The release said that the meeting will be an open house format, and attendees will be allowed to provide input through an interactive voting exercise, according to the release.
