Johnson County authorities find alleged fugitive

UPDATE: Randy Keith Wallace was taken into custody Thursday afternoon in the Shady Valley area, at a residence near Highway 133, as reported by the sheriff’s department.

Deputies were able to locate Wallace “thanks to the public assistance and vigilance,” the sheriff’s office said.


JOHNSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who allegedly violated the sex offender registry.

According to the sheriff’s office, Randy Keith Wallace is wanted for felony probation violations and violation of the sex offender registry.

Wallace is described as a 5-foot-5-inch white male who weighs 160 pounds. He has blue eyes.

Wallace reportedly has ties to Shady Valley and Damascus.

If anyone has details on his location, they should contact the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office at 423-727-7761. It is advised not to confront Wallace directly.
