In Kingsport, Tennessee, the downtown area experienced a delightful transformation on Saturday as local businesses stocked up on candy for a special event.

Youth and their furry companions donned imaginative costumes for the “Trick or Treat on the Street,” eagerly collecting treats from participating stores. Organizers described the gathering as a “spooktacular” affair.

Vanessa Bennett, the Chief Operations Officer of the Kingsport Chamber, estimated that the streets were bustling with around 3,000 young trick-or-treaters.

“It’s a fantastic way to unite the community, offering an opportunity for people to explore our local shops while providing a secure environment for families,” Bennett explained.

The Downtown Kingsport Association spearheaded the event, with essential support from volunteers and sponsors like Barkbound Daycare and Boarding contributing to the vibrant atmosphere.
