ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – On Friday, a back-to-school news conference will gather Orange County’s school board members, superintendent, law enforcement leaders, and others.
The event at Dr. Phillips High School is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
Families are encouraged to listen in for key updates on safety protocols, transportation advice, school renovations, and additional topics, as detailed in a news statement.
The event will feature Orange County Superintendent Maria Vazquez alongside school board members, Orlando Police Chief Eric Smith, Orange County Undersheriff Mark Canty, Orange County Public Schools District Police Chief Bryan Holmes, Mark Watson from Food and Nutrition Services, Bill Wen from Transportation, and Rory Salimbene from Facilities, as outlined in the announcement.
