200 Club honors local heroes during 2025 award ceremony

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — The 200 Club honored local heroes at the Chris Argentinis Annual Valor Award Ceremony on Thursday.

This special event brought together family, friends, and colleagues to pay tribute to the courage and dedication of local police officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel.

Officials emphasized the awards celebrate those who have shown exceptional courage and determination, often putting their own safety on the line to protect and serve the community.

“They’re not in it for the money,” stated President and CEO Mark Dana. “People need to realize this isn’t a career for wealth, yet they willingly risk their lives to assist others. Whether people support law enforcement or not, they will call for help in times of trouble.”

The year 2025 marks the 17th anniversary of this event, and the 200 Club expressed their desire to uphold this tradition for many more years.
