FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A dramatic arrest unfolded in Fort Wayne on Wednesday night when a man brandishing a machete broke into a home, demanding cash and threatening to kill the occupants.

The suspect’s intentions were reportedly expressed earlier that evening to shoppers at a local Target store, where he allegedly shared his plans.

Tyler Allison, 21, is now facing multiple serious charges, including attempted murder, burglary, intimidation with a deadly weapon, and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
