A man was apprehended on Tuesday by the Danville Police Department for his alleged involvement in a shooting incident earlier this month, which left a victim in “serious condition” in Decatur, Ill.

Danville police arrived at the scene near North Vermilion and Green Streets at around 10 p.m. on July 5, where they encountered a 30-year-old man from Danville who had sustained a gunshot wound. Following an investigation, authorities discovered that the incident occurred on the northwest side of the Churchill Towers Apartments situated on East Seminary Street.
