JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — An Elizabethton man has been taken into custody following a grand jury’s indictment on two charges of aggravated rape and one charge of aggravated sexual battery.

Timothy Walker, 63, was apprehended on Oct. 2 subsequent to an inquiry at a community living health facility, as reported by the Johnson City Police Department (JCPD).

The release said the JCPD Special Victims Unit launched the investigation after a resident reported being sexually assaulted by an employee.

Following the presentation of evidence to the grand jury, a true bill was issued on the charges of aggravated rape and aggravated sexual battery.
