Suspected Lego theft ring leader arrested in Northern California

A man from Northern California has been apprehended in connection with an elaborate scheme involving the theft and resale of Lego products.

Authorities executed a search warrant on October 13 at the residence of 39-year-old Robert Lopez. During the search, officers found thousands of Lego pieces scattered throughout his home, according to a report by KRON in San Francisco.

Police described the premises as being filled with containers, bins, and desks covered with tens of thousands of loose Lego pieces. In addition, several unopened boxes of new Lego sets were discovered. In total, the seized Lego items were valued at over $6,000.
