JONESBOROUGH, TN. (WJHL) — The spotlight shone on six new titleholders at the Miss Johnson City/ Miss Historic Jonesborough Scholarship competition, marking a memorable evening for the contestants.
In the “Miss” category, three outstanding participants were honored with crowns.
Zoie Stout proudly took home the title of Miss Johnson City, while Ella Mitchell was named Miss Historic Jonesborough. Jacey Sizemore secured the title of Miss State of Franklin.
These newly crowned winners, Stout, Mitchell, and Sizemore, are now set to compete in the Miss Tennessee Scholarship competition from June 18-20 at the Fisher Center on Belmont University’s campus. Success there could lead them to the prestigious 2026 Miss America Scholarship Competition.
Other notable competitors in the “Miss” category included Isabella Abrahm, Eliza Bowling, Taylor Boyle, and Brenna Lawrence, with Lawrence being recognized as the runner-up.
The “Miss Teen” category also saw three contestants crowned, adding to the night’s excitement.
Piper Sharp was crowned Miss Johnson City Teen, Briley Alley was crowned Miss Historic Jonesborough Teen, and Harper Elam was crowned Miss State of Franklin Teen.
Sharp, Alley and Elam will advance to the Miss Tennessee Teen competition, also at the Fisher Center on the Belmont University Campus on June 18-20.
Madalyn Mullins, Kallie Gergich, Saraya Hughes, and Riley Brown competed in the “Miss Teen” category, as well.
The event was held at the Jackson Theatre in Jonesborough on Saturday, October 18th. It marked the 50th Miss Historic Jonesborough Scholarship Competition.
