The baseball field in Bristol, Tennessee, has been replaced as Bristol Motor Speedway gears up to host not only all three NASCAR series but also the ARCA Menards series this week.

Racing gets underway Thursday with the ARCA and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Then, the NASCAR Xfinity series will take to the track on Friday.

The highlight of the race weekend is Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race, which marks the first elimination event of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. By the end of this race, four drivers will be knocked out of Playoff contention, allowing 12 to proceed to the next stage.

Currently, the 12 drivers above the cutline heading into Bristol include Denny Hamlin, Chase Briscoe, Kyle Larson, Bubba Wallace, Ryan Blaney, William Byron, Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell, Chase Elliott, Joey Logano, Ross Chastain, and Austin Cindric.

Hamlin and Briscoe will automatically advance to the next round after earning wins at Darlington and Gateway.

The four drivers below the line are Austin Dillon, Shane Van Gisbergen, Alex Bowman, and Josh Berry.

Additionally, Friday’s Food City 300 will kick off the Playoff race for the Xfinity Series, whereas Thursday’s UNOH 200 will be the second race in the Truck Series Playoffs’ Round of 10.
