(WHTM) — The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall of a frozen vegetable product that was distributed nationwide.

The FDA has announced that Sno Pac Foods, based in Caledonia, Minnesota, is recalling its Del Mar 35-pound Bulk Organic Frozen Spinach and Sno Pac 10-ounce Organic Frozen Cut Spinach due to the risk of Listeria contamination.

To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall.

The FDA notes that the recalled frozen spinach was distributed nationwide in retail stores and through distributors.

The product comes in a 35 LB box with lot codes 250107A, 250107B, 250107C, 250107D, 2501071, and 2501073, with an expiration date of January 7, 2027.

The affected product is packaged in a 10-ounce size with specific lot codes: SPM1.190.5, best by July 9, 2027; SPC1.160.5, best by June 9, 2027; SPC2.160.5, best by June 9, 2027; and SPM1.097.5, best by April 7, 2027.

The FDA reports that production of these items has been halted as the company works to determine the root of the issue.

Customers who have bought Sno Pac’s 10-ounce Organic Frozen Cut Spinach or Del Mar 35-pound Spinach should throw it away or return it to where it was purchased for a full refund.
