COCOA BEACH, Fla. – Destination Downtown Food Hall made its debut in Cocoa Beach on Monday, becoming the first establishment of its kind on the Space Coast, as stated in a press release.
Located at 2 N. Atlantic Ave., per its website, the venue hosts a mimosa bar, a beach shop, and the following vendors:
-
Vampire Penguin — This spot has been around since 2013, and it offers its unique ‘shaved snow’ ice cream desserts.
-
Fowl Mouth — Here you can find fried chicken, burgers, and loaded tater tots.
-
Von Asia Kitchen — Food items available here blend flavors of Jamaican cuisine and Asian cooking.
-
Troy Anatolian Kitchen — It will serve an array of Mediterranean items such as baklava, baba ghanoush, and tzatziki.
-
Ludz Seafood Express — This spot offers seafood boils, po’boys, fried seafood baskets, and more.
-
Manny’s Express — Italian-born Chef Manny will be slinging handcrafted Italian sandwiches here.
-
BB Rad’s Coastal BBQ — This spot takes traditional BBQ and gives it a Florida spin, serving items such as pineapple cornbread and mango-based coleslaw.
The food hall features a mobile ordering system, allowing visitors to explore menus from all vendors and pay at a single point. Plans are also in place to introduce a food delivery service soon.
The project is led by Oshri Gal and his team at OG Enterprises, who are already working on a second food hall under the same brand in Cape Canaveral.
Gal told News 6 he was born and raised in Cocoa Beach. He said this has inspired him to bring certain projects to the Space Coast, such as the two food halls.
“Our slogan, building our communities to be a better place to work, live and play is not just a slogan, it’s actually a quote of mine,” Gal previously told News 6.
Meanwhile, Downtown Destination Food Hall in Cocoa Beach will host a grand opening celebration on June 28 from 12 p.m. till 6 p.m. It is now open daily at 11 a.m. per its website.
