Orlando Police Share Image of 2023 Homicide Suspect

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando police are seeking assistance from the public to identify an individual they suspect is linked to a fatal shooting that occurred over two years ago, as mentioned in a press statement.

Police said that on July 10, 2023, they responded to calls reporting gunshots at the Metro Place Apartments located at 1049 S. Kirkman Road.

Responding officers found 32-year-old Nyion Ponteen dead at the scene.

According to the release, “surveillance video obtained during the investigation captured the individual(s) responsible.”
