OVIEDO, Fla. – “Swifties” are taking over Oviedo Mall as fans celebrate Taylor Swift’s new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

The mall is hosting a day dedicated to the singer, featuring activities to get fans ready for her new movie in theaters.

Fans can enjoy a sip of lavender-haze lemonade or create friendship bracelets, transforming Oviedo Mall into an “enchanted” place for Swifties.

“So, we’re celebrating everything Taylor Swift. We’re excited about her new album and diving into the showgirl theme. Our mall is embracing this vibe, and we’re hosting a day full of fun to honor the fans,” explained Josh Gunderson, the Director of Marketing and Events at Oviedo Mall.

The event includes scavenger hunts, karaoke and an outfit contest, creating a celebration fit for a showgirl.

“We’ve planned live trivia in the food court and an outfit contest. We’re encouraging everyone to come dressed in their best Eras Tour attire and be ready to impress. There will be a contest with fantastic prizes. One of our retailers even created a special Taylor Swift cookie cake,” Gunderson shared.

Robyn Pressy, a Taylor Swift fan planning to attend the event, shared how she became a “Swiftie” after taking her daughter to Swift’s Eras Tour.

“I appreciated her music, though I wasn’t a massive fan. However, attending her concert was probably the best experience I’ve ever had. It was incredibly entertaining, and learning about her kindness towards her crew revealed her unique character,” a fan expressed.

Several mall shops are providing a 13% discount—Taylor Swift’s lucky number—to shoppers who present their “Release Party of Showgirl” movie ticket.

“As of now, for Friday, we have over 700 movie tickets sold, and that’s just the start. We anticipate even more sales on Saturday and Sunday as the weekend unfolds and more people listen to the album,” Gunderson remarked.
