COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. () – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday the apprehension of two individuals following a shooting incident that left a 39-year-old man wounded in Grovetown.

Police reported that the man claimed he was shot in the parking area of the Willow Oak Subdivision pool on Sebastian Drive, during the early hours of July 16. He managed to drive himself to his grandmother’s house on Louisville Road in Grovetown, where deputies discovered him lying on the driveway in front of the garage.

The deputies provided medical assistance to the victim, who had sustained injuries to his leg, thigh, and torso. He was subsequently taken to Doctors Hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Police later identified 27-year-old Isaiah Matthew Karausky as a suspect and was arrested without incident at a residence in Augusta. Karausky is charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. He is being held without bond.

Tiffany Reeves, 43, of Grovetown was also arrested on a unrelated firearm charge, according to the sheriff’s office. Reeves is charged with Possession of a Firearm By a Convicted Felon and given a $5,100 bond.

“We continue to investigate the extent of her involvement in this shooting,” Morris said in relation to the arrest of Reeves.
