Two lucky Illinois Lottery players win $1M on Powerball tickets


CHICAGO Two lucky Illinoisans are now millionares after buying $1 million winning Powerball tickets.

One of the winning tickets was purchased online at IllinoisLottery.com, and the other winning ticket was bought at Youmax Liquor & Grocery Store, located at 2222 West Devon Avenue in Chicago’s West Ridge neighborhood.

Both tickets matched all five numbers, 5-9-25-28-69, in the Powerball drawing held on Wednesday. The Powerball number was 5.

Youmax Liquor & Grocery Store will receive a one percent bonus of the prize amount, or $10,000, for selling the winning ticket.

This isn’t the first time the store has sold a winning lottery ticket Youmax Liquor & Grocery Store sold a $25,000 scratch-off ticket in April.
