Police Activity Shuts Down Roads in Apopka: Ongoing Investigation in Progress

    APOPKA, Fla. – On Friday evening, a section of West Michael Gladden Boulevard in Apopka was cordoned off due to what authorities described as an “active crime scene.”

    According to a police report issued just before 10 p.m., the affected area stretched from South Hawthorne Avenue to South Washington Street.

    Community Correspondent Troy Campbell arrived on the scene to find a significant law enforcement presence already in place.

    As of now, officials have not disclosed further details, including what crime may have prompted the response.
