POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is scheduled to address the public on Tuesday morning regarding a pioneering fentanyl trafficking investigation, as reported by the sheriff’s office.
According to a statement from deputies, the investigation implicated two Mexican cartels and led to multiple arrests along with “the largest seizure of fentanyl in Polk County Sheriff’s Office history.”
Judd is scheduled to hold a news conference at 10 a.m. on Tuesday to discuss the investigation, which also involved the following agencies:
