ORLANDO, Fla. – A fire, potentially caused by a lightning strike on Sunday, left seven individuals without a home, as reported by the Orlando Fire Department.

Officials said they responded to the incident in the 6700 block of Lake District Lane and were able to control the fire to the attic.

Nobody was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported, according to the fire department.

The five adults and two children are staying with family and the Red Cross was not needed, officials said.
