According to Alpena crime news, the defense said that Alpena man Brad Srebnik, who is accused of killing Brynn Bills and Abby Hill in 2021, might be able to speak for himself in court. On charges of planned murder and body dismemberment. Judge Alan Curtis told Srebnik that he had to decide for himself whether to appear or not according to his lawyer. Josh Wirgau and Bruce Kinsey, who were rewarded for their help and testified differently which suggests that Srebnik’s proof may go against the prosecution’s case.

Srebnik’s Evidence Could Make or Break the Case

As the hearing was coming to a close, Detective Sergeant Anthony Utt of the Michigan State Police talked about the long search for Brynn Bills and how her body was found outside of Wirgau’s house. Utt said it was hard to talk to a lot of witnesses and carry out more than 70 search warrants during the investigation. The government took a break which gave the defense time to call witnesses.
