() Qatar’s prime minister has condemned Iran for violating the country’s airspace and launching missile strikes on the Al Udeid Air Base in Doha.

“Attacking Qatar is unacceptable … we were surprised by the attack on the military base,” Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said. He added that the attack had left a scar on the country’s relationship with Iran.

Qatar was previously working on a ceasefire deal with Iran to stop the fighting. Qatar had to close its airspace as the missiles were launched from Iran. Al Thani summoned Iran’s ambassador Tuesday and took to social media to once again condemn the attacks.

The ceasefire between Iran and Israel remained shaky as of Tuesday. President Donald Trump slammed the two countries when speaking to reporters, saying they “don’t know what the f— they’re doing” as they both violated the terms of the ceasefire.

“Israel, as soon as we made the deal, dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I’d never seen before, the biggest load that we’ve seen. I’m not happy with Israel … I’m not happy with Iran either, but I’m really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning,” Trump said.

In a Truth Social post, Trump maintained the ceasefire was still in effect.
