RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. () – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking a man for questioning related to a theft and firearm incident.

Authorities say the incident happened on August 7th on the 400 block of Aiken Street.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office states that Dominique Davis (5’9″, 155 pounds) is wanted for questioning in regards to the incident.

According to the incident report, deputies responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Aiken Street. The alleged victim reported having a verbal altercation with Davis over a personal issue.

The alleged victim states that during the argument, he tried to make a phone calling using his phone but Davis snatched the phone from his hand.

The alleged victim claims he followed Davis outside, demanding the return of his phone. Davis reportedly refused, and as the victim attempted re-entry into his home, Davis allegedly blocked him.

The alleged victim asserts that as he tried to shut the front door, Davis kicked it with his right foot. The responding deputy noted minor damage to the door in the report.

According to the alleged victim, following the door-kicking incident, Davis supposedly drew a silver-colored firearm from his waistband, threatening, “I’ll shoot this [expletive] on his birthday,” before leaving without returning the phone.

Anyone with information on Davis’s whereabouts is urged to contact Investigator Clifford Banks or any on-call investigator at the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at 706-261-0425 or 706-821-1020.
