Way Of Real Discovery to hold K-12 back to school supply drive

SAVANNAH, Ga. () – The Way Of Real Discovery (W.O.R.D), Inc.’s leading Collegiate and Community Performing Arts Organization is set to host its first-ever Back 2 School Supply Drive.

The drive will be held in the parking lot of Simple Soul of Savannah on Saturday, July 26th, from 12 PM to 4 PM, catering to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Those who want to donate school supplies can drop them off in a donation bin at a business partnered with W.O.R.D. listed below:

  • Abundant Life V Empowerment Center (5406 LaRoche Avenue)
  • Sheppard’s Gas & Food Mart (1302 W. Gwinnett Street)
  • The Trauma Center (5618 B White Bluff Road)
  • Journey Intervention (221 Executive Circle Suite 7)
  • Acts of Faith: A Church Without Walls (Call 912-604-8413 for more information)
  • Vernon Donovan: State Farm (2116 Ogeechee Road)
  • Simple Soul of Savannah  (1915 Montgomery Street)

If you’re unable to attend at one of the partner locations, you can contribute a financial donation through W.O.R.D’s website by following the link to help raise $1,000.

The deadline for all school supply donations is Thursday, July 24th, at the end of the business day and the deadline for donations via the website is Friday, July 18th.

This Back 2 School Supply Drive Giveaway will be run in conjunction with W.O.R.D’s alumni members of W.O.R.D, INC, based in the Greater Atlanta, GA area, The Children Soar & Elevating Young Kings.
