Richmond Hill football to debut new stadium Friday

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Richmond Hill Football will be debuting its brand-new state-of-the-art football stadium in its first game of the season Friday.

The venue has a capacity of over 10,000 fans and includes: suites, a new weight room and a kids play area.

The Wildcats are looking to build off a 7-3 finish last season, its best since the 2020-21 season.

“This is something they can take pride in,” expressed Head Coach Matt LeZotte regarding the new facility. “Our on-field performance was outstanding, and now we have facilities that reflect that excellence.”

The team says they’re ready to open the new stadiums doors against Glynn Academy Friday at 7:30 p.m.

“It’s pretty important because it’s the first game in the new stadium,” said Wildcat defensive lineman Tre Brown.
