Speedway Classic seeing a few roster changes

According to the MLB, the Speedway Classic has been postponed to Sunday at 1 p.m.

The MLB announced another rain delay at 10:00 p.m.

After a lengthy rain delay, the first pitch is scheduled to go out at 9:40 p.m., weather permitting.

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) — News Channel 11’s Kenny Hawkins, McKenzie Kane and Nick Dugan are at the Speedway Classic waiting on the first pitch.

The MLB has announced some small adjustments to the rosters of the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds. News Channel has gathered the details from the official MLB website:

Atlanta Braves:

  • Jurickson Profar (S) LF
  • Matt Olson (L) 1B
  • Austin Riley (R) 3B
  • Drake Baldwin (L) DH
  • Sean Murphy (R) C
  • Michael Harris II (L) CF
  • Ozzie Albies (S) 2B
  • Eli White (R) RF
  • Nick Allen (R) SS

According to the MLB, Austin Cox will be on the mound for the Braves.

Braves pitcher Spencer Strider will not pitch in the game.

Cincinnati Reds:

  • TJ Friedl (L) CF
  • Matt McLain (R) 2B
  • Elly De La Cruz (S) SS
  • Austin Hays (R) DH
  • Miguel Andujar (R) LF
  • Noelvi Marte (R) RF
  • Spencer Steer (R) 1B
  • Tyler Stephenson (R) C
  • Ke’Bryan Hayes (R) 3B

As per the MLB, Miguel Andujar is set to take over as the left fielder for the Reds, stepping in for Gavin Lux. Andujar will be making his first appearance after being traded to Cincinnati last Friday.
