RSCO recognizes new employees, honors those with years of service

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – On Tuesday, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office hosted a special ceremony to honor new hires, acknowledge service milestones, present awards, and announce promotions.

The event was held at the Augusta Municipal Building on Sept. 23, 2025.

During the ceremony, several new hires were sworn in, including three new deputies.

Employees were also honored for their years of service to the department.

Richmond County Sheriff’s Gino Brantley was also present.

Sheriff Brantley expressed, “I believe many are noticing the positive developments we’re implementing, and there’s enthusiasm about the direction we’re heading. When things are progressing well, many are eager to get involved. Our goal is to foster positivity by contributing as many beneficial actions as we can to our community, aiming to enhance safety and growth.”
