RUSSELL COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) — Sheriff Bill Watson stated that the Russell County Sheriff’s Office is probing a structure fire that might be an act of arson.

Watson said the fire was at an abandoned structure on Straight Hollow Road.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the fire as a possible arson, given that no individuals were at the scene, Watson said.

Castlewood Fire Department, Lebanon Fire Department and St. Paul Fire Department assisted in the fire.
