Sanford Police Seek Help to Find Missing Mother and Her 5-Year-Old Daughter in Danger

    SANFORD, Fla. – Sanford police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing and endangered mother and daughter, according to a news release.

    Police said Lenetria Dixon and her 5-year-old daughter Denver Dixon were last seen Sunday in the area of North Lane and Westgrove Way in Orlando.

    According to the release, they recently lived in Sanford and also have family in Sanford.

    “Due to some mental health concerns, Lenetria is considered endangered and Denver is with her,” the release read in part.

    Authorities have stated that they are unsure about the clothes Lenetria and Denver Dixon were wearing when last seen, but they did mention that Denver had a short hairstyle at that time.

    Anyone with information about their location is asked to contact the Sanford Police Department at 407-688-5070.

    Police ask that if you see Lenetria and Denver, please call police by phone immediately to report their location.

    Lenetria Dixon and her 5-year-old daughter, Denver Dixon, were last spotted on August 10, 2025. The Sanford Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in finding them. If you have any information about their whereabouts, please reach out to the Sanford Police Department at 407-688-5070. The police urge anyone who sees Lenetria and Denver to immediately call and report their location.
