Savannah Tech now offering high school diplomas to adult learners

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Savannah Technical College has earned approval to award high school diplomas to adult learners.

The Career Plus High School Diploma (HSD) program integrates academic studies with career-focused training, providing adult learners the opportunity to match their education with their career aspirations, presenting a different choice compared to the conventional GED.

Enrollment for this program is now open for Georgia residents who are at least 18-years of age and have withdrawn from high school.

The program was approved by Cognia, a non-profit organization that provides quality assurance for education providers.

The Career Plus HSD program offers career pathways available in different industries:

  • Aircraft and avionics
  • Business administration
  • Computers and engineering
  • Construction and manufacturing
  • Healthcare
  • Professional services
  • Public safety
  • Transportation
