ATLANTA (AP) — In a recent twist of events, a bespoke $180,000 Range Rover, tailored specifically for NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal, was stolen in Georgia, and authorities are actively pursuing its recovery.

The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office, located in northeast Georgia, reported that they suspect the luxury SUV was snatched from a local fabrication shop and subsequently transported to the Atlanta metropolitan area last week. Intended for Shaq’s use during a Louisiana State University game in Baton Rouge, the vehicle never made it to its destination, according to CBS News Atlanta.

Law enforcement officials have pinpointed several possible suspects and have executed multiple search warrants in connection with the theft.

A representative from Effortless Motors, the California-based company responsible for the vehicle’s customization and a partner of O’Neal since 2023, revealed to CBS News Atlanta that FirstLine Trucking LLC, tasked with transporting the SUV, reported a system breach.

The vehicle had undergone modifications to accommodate O’Neal’s towering 7’1″ frame, along with other luxury enhancements.

In an effort to expedite its recovery, Effortless Motors has announced a $10,000 reward for any leads that could assist investigators in locating the missing vehicle, as reported by various news outlets.
