Woman accused of biting off another woman's thumb during altercation

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) Police in Wichita Falls apprehended a woman on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, following her alleged confession of biting off part of another woman’s thumb during a dispute last month.

Kambrasia Latina Janice Penigar, a 21-year-old resident of Wichita Falls, was taken to the Wichita County Jail, facing charges of aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily harm. As of the latest reports, she remains behind bars with a bond set at $100,000.

According to legal filings, officers from the Wichita Falls Police Department responded to a call at the Washington Village Apartments on October 12, 2025, to interview Penigar regarding an alleged assault incident.
