The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has announced that starting Wednesday, the upper section of South Holston Dam in Bristol, Tennessee, will be temporarily inaccessible. This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform updates and enhancements to safety and emergency equipment. As per the TVA’s news release, this includes work on the top of the dam reservation and other related areas.
