JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) — Both directions of Highway 11E are closed at Grandview Elementary School following a fatal multi-vehicle crash.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) has confirmed there was one death resulting from the accident. Both northbound and southbound lanes are closed while a crash reconstruction team conducts its investigation, according to the WCSO.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) stated the accident happened at 2:02 p.m. Mark Nagi from TDOT confirmed on X that a motorcycle was part of the crash.
